Nicole Miesnik Harris, Richmond Zine Fest co-organizer and the owner of Click Clack Distro, will be a featured guest on Zinecore Radio Thursday, June 23rd at 8 p.m. Don’t have time to catch the show live? Visit http://www.blogtalkradio.com/thezineshow to listen to this episode and/or other installments of the Blog Talk Radio program about zines and the D.I.Y. community.
Are you looking for new zines or old favorites to read in Richmond this summer? We’re lucky to have three (that I know of) local places that appreciate and collect zines–The Flying Brick, VCU Libraries’ Special Collection & Archives department at James Branch Cabell Library, and now The Wingnut Radical Lending Library.
Last but not least, don’t forget to show Richmond Zine Fest some love and Shop for a Cause at Rumors tomorrow between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. 🙂
Richmond Zine Fest will be held Oct. 8, 2011 at the Gay Community Center of Richmond. Check back for more details about the Fest and other related events this summer as we raise funds to keep tabling fees low. We plan this event because we love zines and the people who make them and read them. ❤
